The Rocket M3 base station allows you to build a more thorough network architecture that encompasses a much bigger distance while being enhanced through the introduction of other networking solutions such as antennas, bridges, and access points. It is your ultimate command center for wireless technology without spending a lot of money.
Good Frequency Pickup
The base station is designed to pick up frequencies that are between 3.4 and 3.7 GHz. This is a little bit higher than the 2.4GHz, which is helpful since it means that the signal it receives is usually free of any interference and noise. It’s a very smooth Internet throughput that you can rely on at any time of the day.
The device also supports TDMA (time division multiple access) protocol through its AirMax technology. It has the ability to divide the frequency it picks up into various time slots and classify the slots to different calls. In other words, it’s able to share the same frequency across multiple devices simultaneously. It is the same technology used by cellular providers, among others. To make Rocket M3 even more efficient, it runs on Atheros MIPS 24KC core processor with a speed of 400MHz. It is also equipped with 64SDRAM and a Flash of 8MB. The antenna uses a 2×2 MIMO technology.
The base station works with Rocket Dish 3G-26 and AirMax sector 3G-18-120.
Durability and Physical Stability
Rocket M3 has RF jumpers that are waterproof and a strong enclosure that helps stabilize the UV rays. It is truly designed to work and last long in an outdoor setting while you can control it through the AirOS software. The pole mounting kit is included when you buy the base station. It provides enough support and stability to the base station, especially when additional devices such as antennas are attached.
